Treat Your Honey to "A Day of" Four Seasons this Valentine's Day

Those who have spent time at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea know that luxury has its price. Yet as the current economic climate continues to reveal incredible values, those not inclined to weather the storm with Netflix and a bowl of Zippy’s chili (small size) will find an excellent excuse to get over to one of Maui’s top resorts this Valentine’s Day.

The resort is offering an amazing package good for the entirety of Valentine’s weekend, February 13 through 15. Their “Make a Day of It” package includes a 50-minute couple’s massage in The Spa’s oceanfront hale, dinner for two at Duo or Ferraro’s, full pass to the spa facilities, fitness center and beach services, plus complementary use of shade cabanas at the poolside, usually reserved for Cameron Diaz or the like.

Dinner at Duo, the resort’s fine dining-meets-steakhouse, boasts incredible cuts of beef, lamb and fresh-caught fish; Ferraro’s is the resort’s al fresco, ocean-facing Italian restaurant that features hearty portions, brick-oven baked pizzas, and in this writer’s opinion, the best homemade gazpacho in The State of Hawai’i. The dinner portion of this package is a 3-course Valentine’s Day menu, and includes two cocktails.

The package is $375 per couple; kama’aina who wish to “make a night of it” as well can reserve a room for $295 per night (the $375 does not include overnight accommodations.

If you’ve never had the opportunity to stay at a Four Seasons Resort, or are simply looking to shirk off the recession, we can think of no better place to spend a day and night with your sweetie.
