Great story on [Don] King's son and the Laird Hamilton and Dave Kalama feat.
Brilliant! Insightful! You've done many things with this incredibly unique publication, the likes of which does not exist in Hawaii: you've established credibility with your contacts and sources, found out information even we couldn't attain, and presented it to us clearly and efficiently. Amazing work.
Your newsletter, by the way, is such a great and insightful read!
My last issue of B on Hawaii was great. You have the flare for those interviews...who will you do next? I will await my next issue.
Loved your most recent issue. Great article on Trump and W. Love your writing style.
A really interesting newsletter and take on Hawaii. Good job! I'm a travel writer and usually delete these types of publications, but I actually read yours. This could serve as a refreshing model for other destinations looking to promote their region.
I wanted to let you know that I read your initial edition from "cover to cover" (if that still applies in email form). My husband and I own a winery in Oregon and I loved getting some of the info regarding the foodie stuff going on in Hawaii. It is fascinating; all of the various facets of the industry that attract all kinds of different people. Thanks for sharing!
BIG Mahalos for the story in your newsletter. I'm almost embarrassed for the glowing remarks that you made. It was a lucky night. I will forward it to some pals -- it's a great read.
This is great Brian! The design is so fresh and fun!" - Sonja Swenson, Vice President, Stryker Weiner & Yakota "Great interview with Chef Adam! You really captured his personality in a short space ...
What a great article on Kermit Lynch. I respect, admire & enjoy all of his wines. I have had the pleasure of getting him to fly over and do a tasting luncheon with him when I was at The Plantation House. What a unique, interesting and intellectual individual. Anyway, great Q & A with The Man of French Imports.
