Piano Prodigy Releases Debut Album

On June 2nd, 2007, at the Mamiya Theater in Honolulu, pianist Shawn Livingston Moseley will orchestrate a performance of original music, art and dance. He will be joined by a bevy of special guests, who read like a "Who's Who" list of Hawaii talent. Guitarists include Stephen Inglis, Jeff Peterson and John Hawes; vocals by Melissa Chimera and Navid; dance accompaniment by the IONA Contemporary Dance Theater performers; and artwork by Bryce and Judy Nimitz-Myers.

Moseley, a Punahou and Berklee College of Music graduate, was a nationally ranked classical pianist at the age of 8. Since then, he has worked with some of the world's top performers, mostly in a production role. He opened various recording studios in Boston, New York, San Francisco and now Hawaii -- where he has returned to create and compose his own work. This performance is one of his inaugural efforts back in his home state, and the debut of his new album, "The Storm Before The Calm".
