New "Pink Party", Every Friday, To Benefit Cancer

One of Waikiki's longtime favorite watering holes (albeit with stellar ocean views, hearty fare and a hopping scene, day and night) has initiated a weekly club night. Tiki's Grill & Bar, perched oceanfront on Kalakaua Avenue, will host a "Pink Tiki" party in the Ocean Room, starting at 10:00 p.m., every Friday evening.

A live D.J., drink specials, VIP bottle service and dancing will commence at the beginning of each weekend, to help you get a head start on your leisure time. As if you're looking for another reason to head out to Honolulu's newest party spot; the people behind Tiki's are donating a portion of all drink sales to Queen's Cancer Center. In addition, those making donations directly to the Cancer Center will receive VIP cover passes, as will volunteers and cancer survivors.

To commemorate the new "Pink Party", the bar has created the "Pink Tiki" martini, the makings of which guests can learn about during the "late-night" drink making class held during the weekly party. Those looking to educated themselves on the craft of bar tending can absorb a little knowledge while enjoying the vibe of a dance party. Can't say we've heard of anything quite like this before!

Tiki's is a 10,000 sq. ft., 400-seat grill and bar with a South Pacific ambiance, open from 10:30 a.m. to midnight, nightly. The patio and bar area often features live, local music, which ranges from Hawaiian to folk and rock.

Go to www.TikisGrill.com or call 923-TIKI for reservations or more information on the "Pink Tiki" party.
