Soprano Jacqueline Quirk Offers Private Lessons in Hawaii Through May

Learn to Sing from an Operatic Master

Ever sat at the opera—or been singing in the shower—and thought: "Man, I've got some chops!" We've got some news for your ego: It's never too late to hone your vocal skills. To boot, you're significant other (and neighbors) might really appreciate you mastering that falsetto. Enter Jacqueline Quirk. Aside from teaching voice lessons and acting (at New York University, Hunter College, University of Hawaii, Florida Community College, others), Quirk performed as the soprano soloist in Beethoven's 9th Symphony with the Honolulu Symphony this past week. Splitting her time between O`ahu and Manhattan, Quirk will reside in the islands until early May, offering private vocal training to interested students.

A full bio of Ms. Quirk can be found at www.JacquelineQuirk.com, where you can listen to many of her performances. She will next be seen with the Hawaii Opera Theater at their 50th Anniversary Gala Celebration on Sunday, January 10th at 4:00 p.m., at the Blaisdell Concert Hall. The concert is free (you must pick up tickets prior to show date at the box office.)

For those interested in private lessons, Quirk can be reached directly via email (jhorten@hotmail.com) or by telephone: (732) 513-9108.
