Rodeos, Cowgirls, Crafts and more
This Saturday, October 2, from 10: 00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Kualoa Ranch is hosting the first annual Country Fair and Hawaii Women’s Rodeo Association rodeo. Sure, there will be kick ass cowgirls and adorable keiki getting dirty and dusty with barrel racing, steer un-decorating, roping and an all-around cowgirl champion contest. But there will also be a classic car show, farmer’s market, crafts booths, chili cook-off and games for the whole family (papaya rolling, anyone?).
Parking and admission is free; Kualoa is in Ka‘a‘awa en route to Oahu’s North Shore. All monies raised through this event will go to benefit 4-H clubs, Aloha Council and Boy Scouts of America, Hawaii.
