Kualoa Debuts Paniolo-Inspired Country Fair

Rodeos, Cowgirls, Crafts and more

This Saturday, October 2, from 10: 00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Kualoa Ranch is hosting the first annual Country Fair and Hawaii Women’s Rodeo Association rodeo. Sure, there will be kick ass cowgirls and adorable keiki getting dirty and dusty with barrel racing, steer un-decorating, roping and an all-around cowgirl champion contest. But there will also be a classic car show, farmer’s market, crafts booths, chili cook-off  and games for the whole family (papaya rolling, anyone?).

If you’re keen on a scenic, north-bound drive on Oahu, like seafood, beautiful vistas and a day outside eating and imbibing with some of the best chefs around, you might want to get yourself to the 6th Annual Seafood Festival at Turtle Bay Resort this Friday and Saturday, October 1st and 2nd. The event will kick off on Friday with a sampling of the North Shore shrimp trucks, followed by the legendary Sam Choy Poke Contest, at 10 a.m., Saturday morning. The affair will wrap up with the Seafood Festival on Saturday night.


Mango Madness Maraudes Moana, Friday
